New York sexual harassment laws require each employer – no matter how large or small – to train its entire workforce on how to eliminate and avoid sexual harassment.
This training must be completed annually, and with the summer months looming, now might be a good time to get it done. Besides, best practices dictate that the training should occur sooner rather than later. Obviously, if an employee files a claim at the State Division of Human Rights or the EEOC, they’ll consider whether the employer trained its employees to prevent sexual harassment.
The attorneys at The Coppola Firm are well-versed in the law and have offered training for years. The Firm’s training can be done onsite at your location or via webinar at the convenience of the company and its individual employees.
