New York Sexual Harassment Prevention Laws Training the Trainers CLE on April 11th

The Coppola Firm announces a one-hour CLE on April 11, 2019 from 5:30-6:30.  The one-credit-hour CLE will give attorneys the tools they need to lead a compliant workplace training and to ensure their workplace – whether law firm or business – is fully compliant with New York’s new sexual harassment prevention laws.

Register today by emailing Dwight Eagan at deagan@coppola-firm.com or calling 716.839.9700, ext 103. The fee for this course is $25 per person.

The class will kick off with an overview of the new additions to New York’s sexual harassment laws. It will continue with a discussion about how to ensure your sexual harassment prevention policy is compliant. Then we’ll address strategies to create an effective process for the investigation of sexual harassment claims as well as describe and provide examples of a compliant and effective sexual harassment prevention training course – which must be delivered every single year to all workforces, no matter how small.

Location:  The English Gardener, 4000 Harlem Road, Snyder, NY 14226

The course is designed for active practitioners, both newly-admitted as well as experienced attorneys, and will guide them to ensure their workplaces comply with New York State law and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.

[box] Financial Aid Policy: Any New York attorney who has a genuine financial hardship may apply for tuition assistance for a CLE program by contacting us at info@coppola-firm.com, no later than five working days prior to the program date, explaining the basis of his/her hardship. Tuition assistance is liberally granted, and if granted, the attorney will receive tuition assistance, depending on the individual’s circumstances. Upon request, the fee for this course will be waived for demonstrated need.[/box]
