There are new rules afoot in New York State. With the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 come new minimum wage requirements. Effective December 31st, the minimum wage increased to $11.10 per hour in upstate areas like Erie, Monroe, and Niagara Counties. This is contrasted against New York City employers of 11 or more individuals where there minimum wage has increased to $15 per hour.
