Join NYSSO for Virtual LIVE Continuing Education, from 11 am until 12 pm ET, via Zoom Webinar.

This fast-paced program will focus providers on New York and federal laws governing sexual harassment at work with a particular focus on minimizing the liability risks. With New York being one of the only states that requires annual training on how to prevent sexual harassment, this program is designed to satisfy the annual requirement while providing a practical understanding of the risks. Whether viewers are owners, managers or employees, they will leave this session with steps to implement in order to encourage (and insist on!) respectful and compliant workplaces. There will be ample time for Q&A.

Each engaged attendee will receive a post-event survey within 72 hour of the virtual event. After receiving your post-event survey, the NYSSO Office will then email you the CE Confirmation Sheet within 5 business days of the survey answers being received.

Each engaged attendee will receive one hour Business Manager, Basic Credit for this attending this course.

The Presenter
Lisa A. Coppola, Esq. understands the challenges her clients face, whether they’re starting a new business, taking their existing operations in a new direction, or facing a claim or threat. She particularly enjoys working with the underdog, because her compassion and creativity – and she has plenty of both – are put to the test. In the 30-plus years she has practiced law in New York, Ms. Coppola has actively litigated cases in state and federal courts. She has a breadth of experience in litigation, employment law, and advising businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals. She is as comfortable before a jury as she is before appellate and arbitration panels, and she has a sweet spot for counseling and coaching business owners and executive management.

Ms. Coppola is the Chair Elect of the National Association of Women Business Owners’ national board of directors and is a member of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region II Regulatory Fairness Board, serving New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
