Ms. Grosodonia brings a unique litigation perspective to The Coppola Firm, drawing on her prior experience as a prosecutor handling complex and sensitive cases. Before entering private practice, Ms. Grosodonia served as an Assistant District Attorney, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal matters, including domestic violence and sex offense cases.
With a foundation built in the courtroom, Ms. Grosodonia has gained substantial litigation and advocacy experience through trials, hearings and motion practice. This experience has given her a practical understanding of how cases are built from investigation through resolution and how cases are evaluated by judges and juries.
Ms. Grosodonia has a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices through her training in trauma-informed advocacy, and she is a certified a forensic interviewer. Her training emphasizes evidence-based interviewing techniques, careful assessment of statements, and an understanding of how trauma may impact memory, behavior, and communication. She uses this expertise to prepare witnesses, conduct examinations, and effectively present testimony.
Now, Ms. Grosodonia approaches civil litigation with a trial-ready mindset, enabling her to anticipate challenges, assess claims and defenses and thoughtfully develop strategies designed to position our clients for success. As always, her focus is on a speedy, efficient resolution, and having a trial-ready approach keeps clients protected whether a matter settles early or proceeds to trial.
Ms. Grosodonia is admitted to practice in all New York State courts. Ms. Grosodonia has her Juris Doctor with a concentration in criminal law from the University at Buffalo School of Law. During her time in law school, Ms. Grosodonia participated in the Family Violence and Women’s Rights Clinic and actively competed in trial advocacy competitions.
